TRS-80 Color Computer | Exstructus Blog

The Tandy Color Computer was created in 1980 with the Color Computer 1. It was followed by the Color Computer 2 in 1983, and the Color Computer 3 in 1986. My first "Coco" was a Color Computer 2 (PAL version), with 16kB of RAM.

Today, there is a vibrant community, still building hardware and software, podcasts and social media pages and groups.

This page is my dedication to the Tandy/Radio Shack Color Computer.

When the Generals Talk

While researching my next blog post, "35 years ago this month", I found a copy of the Australian Rainbow magazine from January 1985. Graham Morphett was the Editor and Publisher. He wrote a PRINT#-2 (Rainbow's editorial column) which had me thinking.

Introducing Emissary for the Tandy Colour Computer 3

My first blog post on the development of my new game, "Emissary". This is a game that I have been wanting to do since I was a teenager. Getting huge inspiration from people like John Strong, John Linville, Nick Marentes, Rick Adams, D. Bruce Moore, Paul Thayer, Steve Bamford and Steve Strowbridge, I thought it was time to do it!
